I was born in Chios, an island situated in the northern Aegean Sea in Greece (on my mother's side, I have a native American origin). After I finished high school, I moved to Athens to study Physics/Astrophysics. Now I am a postdoctoral researcher in Astrophysics working at the INAF-Osservatorio Astronomico di Brera. Previously, I was working as an adjunct in Gamma-Ray Astrophysics department, H. Niewodniczański Institute of Nuclear Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences. My research field is High Energy Astrophysics, and I am working on numerical simulations and the non-thermal multiwavelength emission from astrophysical sources. Also, I am interested in Science Communication, particularly in planning, organization, and implementation of activities, presentations, and articles for adults, students, and kids.
